OrderNomics uses SMS (text messaging) to support the operation of its platform by facilitating transactional communications and by delivering system-generated alerts directly to its customers, their authorized users, and their designated distributor contacts.

4.1 Purpose of SMS Messages

SMS messages sent through OrderNomics are strictly business-to-business and transactional in nature and may include alerts, order placement, order confirmations, pricing inquiries, product updates, substitutions, and delivery coordination. Alerts may notify recipients of time-sensitive or operational issues related to orders or supply chain activity. OrderNomics does not send marketing or promotional SMS messages.

SMS messages sent through OrderNomics are strictly business-to-business and transactional or operational in nature. Messages may be customer-initiated, distributor-facing, or system-generated by OrderNomics to support platform functionality.

SMS communications may include, without limitation:

Alerts and system notifications
Order placement and confirmations
Pricing inquiries and availability updates
Product substitutions
Delivery coordination
Time-sensitive operational or service-related issues

OrderNomics does not send marketing or promotional SMS messages.

4.3 Source of Contact Information & Authorization

OrderNomics receives business contact information, including phone numbers, directly from its customers or through systems designated by its customers. Customers represent and warrant that they have the authority to provide such contact information and to authorize OrderNomics to use it for transactional communications related to their business operations. Phone numbers used for SMS messaging are provided or approved by our customers during onboarding and account configuration.

OrderNomics does not independently source, scrape, or purchase phone numbers for SMS messaging.

4.4 Pricing & Transactional Information

Any pricing information communicated via SMS through OrderNomics is strictly limited to information exchanged between a customer and their designated distributor and relates solely to that specific customer–distributor relationship. Pricing messages are sent only for transactional and operational purposes. OrderNomics does not share, compare, aggregate, or disclose pricing information across distributors or between unrelated parties via SMS messaging. OrderNomics acts solely as a communication facilitator for customer-authorized transactional messages and does not negotiate, set, or independently distribute pricing via SMS.

4.5 Consent & Opt-Out

Recipients may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP (or using any other reasonable revocation method). We process opt-out requests promptly and no later than 10 business days. A one-time confirmation message may be sent following revocation, with no further messages thereafter.

Message frequency varies depending on user activity and order processing requirements.

4.6 Data Handling

OrderNomics may collect and store phone numbers, message content, timestamps, and related metadata for operational, compliance, and auditing purposes. SMS services are provided through third-party providers such as Twilio (see https://www.twilio.com/en-us/legal) and are subject to their terms. This data may also be used to monitor message delivery, troubleshoot failures, and verify the transmission of time-sensitive system alerts.

OrderNomics may collect and store phone numbers, message content, timestamps, and related metadata for operational, compliance, and auditing purposes and store such information for as long as necessary to support platform operations, audit logs, or to comply with applicable legal retention requirements.

4.7 Age Requirement

OrderNomics’ services, including SMS communications, are intended for individuals 14 years of age or older. OrderNomics does not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 14. If you believe that personal information from an individual under 14 has been provided to OrderNomics, please contact us so that appropriate action may be taken.

Customers provide prior express consent for OrderNomics to facilitate transactional and operational SMS communications, including system-generated alerts, during account setup, onboarding, or by providing/designating contact information for business workflows.
